St. Patricks Day Treats!

Hello all! Recently, I made some "St.Pattys Day" inspired desserts since March 17th is quickly approaching. I had a video to accompany this post and I deleted it on accident (boo!) I still decided to post the pictures and share the recipes with you all! Let me know if you try them out :)

Party Mix
Ingredients:
  • Popcorn
  • Peanut
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Pretzels
  • White Chocolate
  • Green Food Coloring
  • Green M&M's
Directions:
This one is really simple!
  • Layer pretzels first on a baking sheet.
  • Pop popcorn and evenly layer it on top of the pretzels.
  • Melt white chocolate and add green food coloring. (If you are using regular white chocolate you may need to add a little olive oil to it to keep it from thickening)
  • Drizzle over popcorn and pretzels.
  • Quickly add your toppings so it all sticks together. I used peanut, chocolate chips, and green m&m's to give it a little color.
  • Once the chocolate hardens break them up and you can put them in cute little bags for your friends and family!

Chocolate Dipped Oreos & Strawberries
Ingredients:
  • I used the mint Oreos since the center is green (and they taste JUST like Thin Mints!)
  • Strawberries
  • White Chocolate Chips
  • Green Food Coloring
  • Sprinkles
Directions:
Again, another easy one!
  • Melt the chocolate chips (you may need to add a little oil to keep it from thickening)
  • Add green food coloring
  • Dip half or the entire Oreo and Strawberry into the chocolate
  • Add sprinkles if desired!

Thin Mint Oreo Truffles
Ingredients:
  • Mint Oreos
  • Melting Chocolate / Chocolate Candy Bark
  • Icing, Sprinkles (for decoration on top)
  • Cream Cheese
Directions:
  • Break up Oreos into a food processor and blend until all chopped up.
  • Using a hand mixer, mix Oreos with cream cheese until it is to a consistency where you can roll them into balls.
  • Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
  • Roll into one inch ball and place on a cookie sheet with wax paper. Stick back into the refrigerator for another 15 minutes
  • Melt the chocolate and then use a fork to dip the Oreo balls into it. Place back on the cookie sheet for it to harden.
  • Use icing or melted white chocolate with food coloring for icing.

Homemade Bagel Pizzas

Hello! Today, I wanted to show you guys this quick recipe that brings back so many childhood memories. I've always loved Bagel Bites, so what's better than even BIGGER bagel bites? The answer? Not much.

My boyfriend, Travis, and I love these because they are really easy to make after a long day of school and work and they are really inexpensive to make.

Ingredients:

  • Bagels (we usually eat a whole bagel each)
  • Pizza sauce (one jar lasts us about three separate meals)
  • Mozzarella Shredded Cheese
  • Bacon Bits / Pepperoni (optional)
Directions:
  • Toast the bagels (this is important to do first otherwise they won't get crispy!)
  • Apply sauce, then cheese, then toppings
  • Stick in the oven/toaster oven for about 10 minutes or until cheese has melted
  • ENJOY!
Here's a quick video of me making them!

If you decide to try these out, make sure to tell me how you like them!
